Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers' RHP Brandon McPherson Signs with Houston Astros

Marysville, CA - The Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers are proud to announce that right-handed pitcher Brandon McPherson has officially signed with the Houston Astros organization, taking the next step in his professional baseball journey.

McPherson made an immediate impact with the High Wheelers this season, posting a 2-0 record over two starts. In just those outings, he tallied an impressive 16 strikeouts and recorded a 2.38 ERA, quickly establishing himself as one of the premier arms on the roster.

"I am very excited for B-Mac! I've known him since he was three years old, so he is like family. He has put in so much hard work to get to this place and deserves this." said Billy Horton, Manager/Assistant GM of the High Wheelers. "The Astros just got a great ball player and an even better young man."
