Yoshida's Fourth Start Set for Friday July 2nd vs St George

(Chico, CA. June 29th, 2010) The Chico Outlaws today announced that right-handed knuckleballer Eri Yoshida, the 18-year old "Knuckle Princess" from Japan, will make her fourth start of the year on Friday July 2nd at Nettleton Stadium against the St George Roadrunners.

Game time is set for 7:05 pm as the Outlaws and Roadrunners battle on "Green Friday" presented by Sierra Nevada Brewery and "Glow Necklace" Giveaway night presented by Christian Michaels and Cal Pasta to the first 500 fans through the gates.

The team also announced that on Wednesday June 30th, Yoshida will sign autographs prior to the game against Orange County from 5:15 pm - 6:00 pm. The gates will be opened at 5:15 pm to accomodate the signing. Fans can get one item autographed for free; additional items such as baseballs, t-shirts and game programs can be purchased for autograph as well.

Yoshida, who has an 0-1 record with a 5.25 ERA in her three starts, last pitched on June 24th against the Edmonton Capitals, allowing just three runs, two earned, on three hits. She took the loss, her first of the year in three contests.
