Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release

OKLAHOMA CITY YARD DAWGZ (4-3) vs. LAREDO LOBOS (0-8)

Saturday, June 2, 2007 - FORD CENTER (9,390) 7:05 p.m. CST

Creating their own version of the Red River Rivalry, the Yard Dawgz will attempt to defeat a Texas team for the fourth time this season. After a three week hiatus from the Ford Center, the Dawgz will host the Laredo Lobos (0-8), one of four 2007 expansion teams from the lone star state, on Saturday, June 2nd.

Both the Dawgz and Lobos played Lubbock in their last contest, but yielded very different results. The Dawgz defeated the Renegades 64-61 on a last second TD catch and Laredo is coming off a 44-71 loss to Lubbock.

The Dawgz are on a two game winning streak, with wins over Amarillo and Lubbock. After eight weeks of regular season play, the Dawgz still lead the league in passing and total offense and have allowed only three sacks, best in the af2.

"Laredo is coming into this game with nothing to lose," commented Head Coach John Fitzgerald. "They are a well coached ball club and their record does not indicate how well they've played."

All Yard Dawgz games will be broadcast live on KTOK AM1000 and KGFF AM1450 and also online at www.ktok.com and www.kgff.com. Each game can be viewed by clicking the B2 Networks link found on the Yard Dawgz website, www.okcyarddawgz.com.

Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m.
