The Sharks had a BYE week, Corpus Christi won in their last game 39-28 over the Texas Copperheads back on May 19th.

PIONEERS TOP COACHES POLL FOR SIXTH STRAIGHT WEEK
CHICAGO - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers have maintained the No. 1 ranking of the Weekly Coaches Poll for the sixth straight week, the arenafootball2 (af2) league office announced today. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton collected 461 of a possible 464 points and 27-of-30 first place votes in securing the top position. The Pioneers, who are the only undefeated team in the league at 8-0, scored a convincing 71-46 home win in Week 9 against Albany.
The Rio Grande Valley Dorados (7-1, 396 points, 2 first place votes) took over the No. 2 position this week after a 49-44 home win Saturday against Amarillo. Also moving up in the ranks is South Georgia and Arkansas. The Wildcats (6-2, 393 points) and Twisters (6-2, 364 points) each moved up two spots to No. 3 and No. 4 overall, respectively. South Georgia earned added respect for its 60-46 road win at Bossier-Shreveport, who entered Week 9 tied at No. 3 in the poll. Arkansas was also impressive with its 36-19 road win at Tulsa, handing the No. 2 Talons their first loss of 2007. Tulsa (7-1, 357 points, 1 first place vote) slipped to No. 5 overall.
