Sioux City-----With a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning T.J. Bohn drove home Kent Sakamoto with the go-ahead run as the Explorers defeated Gary Southshore 5-4 to finish off a three-game sweep of the division leading RailCats.

Sakamoto led off with a double to right centerfield and moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by Ray Serrano. Bryan Wilde pitched two scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win while Emiliano Fruto, just re-signed out of Tabasco in the Mexican League picked up his seventh save for the Explorers. The victory also moved the Explorers to within six games of the first place RailCats in the Central Division of the American Association.

The Explorers will have an off day Monday before heading to Kansas City to start a three-game series Tuesday with the T-Bones. After the three games in Kansas City, the Explorers will return home to Lewis and Clark Park starting Friday with a seven-game homestand. Wichita will be in for three-game on Friday-Sunday while Gary Southshore will be back for a four-game series starting next Monday.
