Gary SouthShore 12, Winnipeg 4

RailCats 2B Mike Rohde hit a three-run homer to open up a 4-1 lead against Winnipeg in Gary SouthShore's 12-4 win Monday. Rohde finished a triple shy of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with three runs and four RBI. Goldeyes LF Jon Weber went 2-for-4 with a run to pace his club. Joining Rohde in the home run column, RailCats 3B Chris Carrara picked up a two-run blast in the team's six-run ninth to finish off the Goldeyes. It was Carrara's only hit of the game. Gary SouthShore starting pitcher Scott Shaw threw six innings and struck out three while allowing one run on five hits and two walks.

Grand Prairie 3, Amarillo 1

AirHogs starting pitcher Jason Jennings pulled his season record to 8-1 with an impressive outing against Amarillo on Monday. Jennings struck out five Sox batters while shutting out Amarillo over seven innings, allowing three hits and three walks. Jennings got all the run support he would need in the middle innings, as the AirHogs put up two runs in the fifth and another in the sixth. Grand Prairie LF David Thomas scored two of his club's runs as he went 1-for-3. The Sox scored their only run in the eighth, when 1B Lee Cruz rocketed a solo home run. It was Cruz' only hit of the game.

Lincoln 13, Fort Worth 10

A slugfest broke out Monday in Lincoln's 13-10 win against Fort Worth, with the Saltdogs getting two or more hits from seven of their nine batters. Leading the way for Lincoln, 3B Brandon Jones went 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBI. Jones also fell a home run shy of the cycle, hitting an RBI triple in the second inning and a run-scoring double in the seventh. Though the Saltdogs led the whole game, the Cats kept it close throughout thanks to 13 hits against three Lincoln pitchers. Three of those 13 hits came from leadoff Cats 3B Will Calhoun, who also batted in two runs. The win went to Saltdogs starting pitcher Jino Gonzalez, who allowed three runs in six and two-thirds innings.

St. Paul 2, Sioux Falls 2

The Saints and Pheasants are tied at two runs apiece in the bottom of the 12th inning. Sioux Falls RF Gus Milner leads all players with four hits and is one of four players with an RBI. The Saints had the bases loaded in the top of the 12th with one out, but two consecutive popouts kept the game tied.
