Xplosion vs. Rockers tonight

Pittsburgh, PA. Police, firefighters, active military and EMS will receive free tickets to tonight's exciting game between the ABA Pittsburgh Xplosion and the Lake Erie Rockers at Mellon Arena. Both teams are coming off very close losses and both teams are eager for their first win in the 2005-2006 season. The Xplosion is Pittsburgh's new pro basketball team and features former NBA players Armon Gillam and Myron Brown, plus exciting local players who excelled for NCAA basketball and top international teams.

"We hope that many of our law enforcement, firefighters, military and EMS personnel will take advantage of the free $12.50 tickets at the Mellon Box Office. It is our way of saying thank you for your service and how much you mean to our community," said Freddie Lewis, team co-owner. "And, we are really ready to compete at the highest level in this league. We promise an exciting evening."
