WWE superstar Chris Masters to drop ball at next Riggers game
March 7, 2007 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Calgary Roughnecks News Release
Calgary, AB - Chris Masters, the innovator of the seemingly unbreakable Master Lock hold, will drop the ball to start the Roughnecks next home game on March 24 against divisional rivals, the Arizona Sting.
The WWE Superstar will also take part in the half-time show and sign autographs at the end of the game.
Masters is known in grappling circles as The Masterpiece, a reference to his impressively carved body, which he himself proclaims is a "flawless physique."
The 6ft. 4in. 275lb. wrestler began his career as an amateur bodybuilder in his hometown of Los Angeles.
He later moved onto wrestling and learned his craft on smaller circuits before debuting in the WWE in February, 2005.
Since then, and despite several attempts, no-one-- including a number of experienced WWE performers -- has been able to escape from his trademark finishing move, The Master Lock.
