WWE star Matt Hardy to visit BI-LO Center

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced that MATT HARDY of the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE), will make a special appearance in the BI-LO Center when the Grrrowl host the Columbus Cottonmouths on Sunday afternoon (3:05pm), February 22, 2004.
Hardy, who turned pro in 1992 has won numerous individual titles in the WWE, WWF and WCW, his latest coming during 2003 as the World Cruiserweight Champion of WWE. He, along with his brother Jeff, has garnered multiple Tag-team titles, including the 2001 WWE World Tag-Team Championship (their 5th) in November of 2001.
Sunday afternoon games are Kids Day with the Grrrowl, and feature $5.00 tickets anywhere in the arena for kids, 12&under. Also, Sunday games feature the Family Four Pack (4 tickets, 4 Pepsi's, 4 Hotdogs for $40). After each Sunday game, the Grrrowl will host an open skate with Grrrowl players immediately following the contest.
The Grrrowl will play in the BI-LO Center on Sunday (2/15) against the Florence Pride, and will be on the road to face Charlotte on Tuesday night (2/17). On Saturday (2/21), Greenville returns to the BI-LO Center to take on the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 7:05pm, before hosting Columbus on Sunday afternoon (2/22).
