Bakersfield, Calif. – Jordan Cameron scored four times, three in the third period, as the Alaska Aces came from behind to steal a 6-5 victory over the Bakersfield Condors in front of 4,349 fans at Centennial Garden on Saturday night.

Bakersfield looked to be on their way to a romp, as they opened up a 4-0 lead in the first nine minutes of the game. Jason Ralph, Kevin Riehl, Jimmy Drolet and Quinn Fair all scored on the first nine Condors shots of the game in the first 8:57 of the opening frame. The Aces replaced starter Lance Mayes, who also absorbed a 7-4 loss against the Condors on Tuesday night at the Garden, with Dan Murphy. Bakersfield headed into the intermission with a 4-0 lead.

The Condors couldn't keep up their momentum in the game, and saw the Aces bounce back with a pair of power play goals to cut the lead to two with just under six minutes remaining in the middle frame. Mike Barrie lifted Bakersfield back into a three-goal lead at 17:05 with his 10th of the year to make it 5-2. Cameron pounded in his first of the night in the final minute of play in the stanza to make it 5-3 after 40 minutes.

Cameron quickly erased the deficit in the third, scoring his second of the night at 1:22 and completing the hat trick just a minute later to tie the game at 5-5. At 7:56 of the last period, Cameron's wrist shot from the top of the right circle beat Shane Bendera for the eventual game winner. His four-goal night helped push the Aces in front of the Condors by 15 points in the Pacific Division standings.
