
Wright Drops Double-Double As Clippers Win Nail-Biter

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers (1-0) defeat the Sioux Falls Skyforce (2-2), 96-95, opening their regular season with a victory.
Four Clippers scored in double-figures, led by Moses Wright's huge 21-point, 16-reboudn double-double.
George King (21 points), Keaton Wallce (20 points), and Keon Johnson (19 points) round out the group.
The Skyforce were led by Mike Smith's game high 31 points on an efficient 10-for-18 shooting from the field. He added six assists and five rebounds.
After each team won a quarter in the first half by 13 points, respectively, the Clippers and the Skyforce went into the half tied at 60. The second half went down to the wire, with Sioux Falls blowing a fast break dunk opportunity with 11.7 seconds and the Clippers subsequently taking a 96-95 lead on a Keon Johnson drive and dunk with 7.4 left in regulation. The Skyforce had two chances to win the game but couldn't capitalize.

The Clippers hit the road to take on the Stockton Kings on Friday night at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, CA. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. PT.
