Wranglers Sign Two More - Bristow and Shockey join Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL announced today the signing of right wing Cam Bristow and defenseman Jonathan Shockey.

"Cam is a big, rugged winger who will give us a physical presence along the boards. He will also bring us more leadership to the locker room", said Wranglers' General Manager and Head Coach Glen Gulutzan. "Shockey is a great character guy who will bring some grit to our defense. He's also a very good guy in the locker room".

Bristow enters his seventh season of professional hockey after splitting time last season between the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL and the ECHL's Roanoke Express. Bristow tallied 37 points in 40 games with Roanoke compiling 17 goals and 20 assists and he posted 55 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3 winger also played 22 games in Norfolk, picking up three goals and one assist. Bristow has played 255 games in his career. The 30-year old forward has 65 career goals, 76 career assists, for 141 points. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native has 476 career penalty minutes.

Veteran defenseman Jonathan Shockey enters his seventh season of professional hockey. The 205-pound blueliner spent last season in Idaho with the WCHL's Steelheads. In 66 games for Idaho, Shockey produced seven goals and 14 assists, for 21 points. The 6-foot-2 defenseman finished second on the Steelheads with 166 penalty minutes. The Lethbridge, Alberta native has played 331 games for his career. In that time, he's scored 18 goals while adding 68 assists, as well as totaling 877 penalty minutes throughout his career.
