Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release
Pensacola, Fla. The Pensacola Ice Pilots, under the new ownership group of Hockey Enterprises of Pensacola L.L.C. with the sole owner Tim Kerr, began training camp today as 19 players participated in the two a day session. Around 100 fans turned out for both practices which are open to the public.
Head Coach Todd Gordon released two players after the second practice. They are defenseman Marek Stastny and forward Michal Berka both from the Czech Republic.
Forward Keith Kirley, who is on the training camp roster, is expected to arrive in Pensacola tonight and participate in practice tomorrow.
Goalie Scott Dickie arrived in Pensacola at 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning and still practiced with the team during the 9:00 a.m. morning and afternoon session.
The Ice Pilots will continue two a day practices tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m. 11 a.m. and 3:3 0 p.m. 4:30 p.m.

The Ice Pilots will play two preseason games vs. Louisiana this Friday, October 10th and this Saturday, October 11th at 7:05 p.m. Cost for tickets are $10 for floor and glass, sides and behind the goals and $5 for lower upper and upper level tickets.
The Ice Pilots begin the regular season in their home opener on Saturday, October 18th vs. Columbus at 7:05 p.m. Individual regular season game tickets cost $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, $13 for behind the goal and lower upper level and $10 for upper level tickets.
Fans can purchase individual tickets for the preseason regular season in person the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 850-434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. Season tickets are on sale by calling the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825.
