Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - Partnering with St. Baldrick's for the seventh season in a row, players and front office staff of the Las Vegas Wranglers will shave their heads on the ice after the team's game against the San Francisco Bulls on Sunday, March 3. The event wraps up a six-week fundraising effort to bring awareness and support to the battle against childhood cancers.
Immediately after the 2:05 p.m. game, Wranglers players will take the ice again to have their heads shaved in solidarity with children battling cancers. Fans can donate to their favorite player, head coach Ryan Mougenel or various front office staff members by visiting the team's St. Baldrick's page here . Last season, the Wranglers raised $32,577 for the organization.
Fans were also welcome to join the Wranglers and raise funds to shave their head by visiting the team page and choosing to "participate with this team." The fan that individually raises the most money will have their head shaved on the ice with the rest of the Wranglers organization. Collectively, Wranglers players, front office members and fans have reached over $8,200 in donations thus far for Sunday's game.
The team kicks off a three-game home stretch against the Bulls starting Friday, March 1, at 7:05 p.m.
Celebrating 10 seasons of Wranglers hockey this year, group events are available at all home games, including pre-game ice skating parties, private luxury suites, and rink-side catered party boxes. Groups of ten or more can sit together starting at $13 per ticket, and feature perks such as in-game group recognition and "buy one, get one free" Chuck-A-Puck vouchers. Take advantage of the best deals by calling the Wranglers front office at (702) 471-PUCK . The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
