Wranglers Continue Affiliation with Phoenix Coyotes

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) have agreed to renew their affiliation with the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League for the 2010-11 season.

This will be the second season that the Wranglers and Coyotes are affiliated.

The Phoenix Coyotes have been a part of the NHL since 1996, when the team moved from Winnipeg. The former Jets made the playoffs in their first four seasons in Phoenix. The Coyotes are led by Head Coach Dave Tippett. In 2009-10, the Coyotes qualified for the playoffs after earning 107 points and a 50-25-7 record. They were eliminated by the Detroit Red Wings in the Conference Quarterfinals.

Las Vegas will also be affiliated with the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage. The Rampage, founded in 2002, finished sixth last season in the West Division. Left wing Brett MacLean led the Rampage in the 2009-10 season with 65 points in 76 games.

The Wranglers host Opening Night on Friday, October 22nd, 2010 at 7:05 pm against Victoria. 2010-11 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
