Wormald Added to Roster

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced on Monday that 2005-born forward Logan Wormald has been added to the main roster for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season.

Wormald, 16, was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the third round (45th overall) in the 2020 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft. The Langley, British Columbia product has appeared in four games with the 'Canes as an affiliate player this season totaling four penalty minutes. After being re-assigned at the start of the season, Wormald skated in six games with the Yale Hockey Academy U18 club where he collected 11 points (6g-5a) where he was third in team scoring.

The Hurricanes now have a 21-man roster, including 13 forwards, six defenseman and two goaltenders.

The Hurricanes continue a five-game road trip on Wednesday when they visit the Winnipeg ICE at 6:00pm MT. The 'Canes will then visit the Brandon Wheat Kings, Regina Pats and Moose Jaw Warriors before returning to the ENMAX Centre on Friday, November 19th when they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers at 7:00pm.
