Spokane Chiefs News Release
Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs and Brett Sports, in concurrence with Numerica Credit Union, announced today the Numerica Hooptown USA Holiday Series to include two NCAA Men's Basketball neutral site games, each featuring the Washington State University Cougars at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. Tickets for both games will go on sale on Wednesday, November Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. via ticketswest.com.
The Cougars will face the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits on Dec. 11 at 12 p.m. The second game in the Numerica Hooptown USA Holiday Series pits WSU versus the Boise State University Broncos on Dec. 22 at 5 p.m.
Thanks to title partner Numerica Credit Union, a portion of every ticket sold will directly benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest and Spokane Hoopfest Association, with the goal of "creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth" within our community.
"Numerica is proud to partner with Brett Sports to bring the community together this holiday season," said Kim Pearman-Gillman, Senior Vice President of Community Development & Impact. "As an organization committed to enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities, we are thrilled to also support local youth organizations through this fun and meaningful event series."
As part of their agreement with the Spokane Public Facilities District, the Spokane Chiefs are excited to bring these events featuring WSU Men's Basketball to the Spokane Arena.
"Our partnership with the Public Facilities District encourages us to bring up to six non-hockey events to the Spokane Arena each year," detailed Spokane Chiefs President Mark Miles. "We're thrilled to team up with Numerica to bring more family-friendly, affordable entertainment to our city.
"These games provide a great opportunity to raise money for two non-profit organizations that make an impact for youth in our community."
