Vancouver Whitecaps FC News Release
VANCOUVER, BC - As World Cup fever continues to take over Vancouver, Whitecaps FC are excited to announce that the club will participate in a FIFA World Cup Final Viewing Party, presented by KIA, on Sunday, July 13. The viewing party will take place at one of Vancouver's premier venues - the Commodore Ballroom.
Fans of the beautiful game will be able to secure their FREE tickets for the much-anticipated final online at whitecapsfc.com/worldcupfinal starting tomorrow, June 27, at 10 a.m. PT.
Attendees at the viewing party will be treated to a live pre-match, halftime, and post-match show with Whitecaps FC players and staff, as well as special prizing and giveaways. In addition, specialty food options specific to the two finalist countries will be available. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. PT and kickoff is slated for noon. Please note this is a 19+ event.
After 15 days of non-stop action in the highest scoring World Cup in over 40 years, the group stage is now over and only 16 teams will remain in contention to host the FIFA World Cup trophy.
Will Brazil take the title at home or will it be one of their neighbouring countries? Can a European team finally win the World Cup in South America? Or will we see a first time winner from North America or Africa? Come to the Commodore Ballroom on Sunday, July 13, and join the 'Caps in watching the biggest sporting event of the year.
It's not too late to participate in the best sporting experience in Vancouver. Whitecaps FC offer a flexible range of ticket products, including prorated season tickets ($202), 5-packs ($149), student season tickets, and a youth soccer half-season ticket. Single-match tickets start at $22, subject to applicable fees. For more information on all Whitecaps FC ticket options, call 604.669.9283 ext. 2 or visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets .
