
Sounders FC to Host World Cup Viewing Party Tuesday

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC, in partnership with The American Outlaws Seattle, will host a live viewing party at the CenturyLink Field Event Center for the U.S. National Team's match against Belgium on Tuesday, July 1. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. PT. Gates will open at 11 a.m. and admission is free.
The United States advanced to the Round of 16 after finishing second in Group G with a record of 1-1-1. The USMNT beat Ghana, 2-1, then earned a 2-2 draw with Portugal before falling to Germany, 1-0, in the final Group Stage match.
Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey is the captain of the national team and scored two goals in three Group Stage games, including the fastest goal for the United States in World Cup history. Sounders FC defender DeAndre Yedlin made his World Cup debut against Portugal, playing 24 minutes in his two substitute appearances.
