Worcester Sharks Host Job Fair on March 4

WORCESTER, MA- Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd along with The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development has announced today that the Workforce Central Career Center will partner with the Worcester Sharks on Friday, March 4, 2011 to host a job fair before the Sharks host the Manchester Monarchs at the DCU Center.
Employers from across the Commonwealth will gather at Worcester's DCU Center from 1p.m. - 5p.m. to meet with hundreds of job seekers looking for their next career opportunity. Admission is FREE to attend the job fair.
As an added bonus, all job fair attendees will be offered A BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE TICKET OFFER for the Sharks game that evening versus the Manchester Monarchs. The game will begin at 7:30p.m. at the DCU Center.
The job fair will feature employers from across the Commonwealth, from industry sectors such as healthcare, construction, medical, high-tech manufacturing and many more.
The Sharks have also designated March 4 as "Public Employee Appreciation Night." Tickets will be available for public employees at the discounted price of $11.00 by calling the Sharks front office in advance at (508) 929-0526.
Worcester's Workforce Central Career Center is only one of Massachusetts' 37 one-stop career centers throughout the Commonwealth committed to providing job seekers with the quality resources, assistance, and support to get back to work.
