
Worcester Sharks Announce Release of Training Camp Schedule and Roster

The Worcester Sharks announced today the release of their Inaugural Training Camp schedule. Approximately 30 players will take to the DCU Center ice on Monday, September 25 at 5:00 p.m. Team President Michael T. Lehr made the announcement.
On Monday, some notable attendees of the Worcester Sharks Training Camp with New England ties are Tom Cavanagh, a Harvard University product from Rhode Island, Tyler McGregor, former Holy Cross standout, Brady Leisenring from the University of Vermont, and Brennan Evans from the Lowell Lock Monsters.
Training Camp will be open to the public on Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A White vs. Teal scrimmage will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Player's will practice from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in various sessions on Tuesday, September 26 and Wednesday, September 27.
The following three days the Worcester Sharks will play three preseason games.
On Thursday, September 28 at 7:05 p.m. the Sharks will take on the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Simsbury Skating Center.
On Friday, September 29 the Sharks will play host to the Manchester Monarchs at the New England Sports Center for an 8:00 p.m. start time. A limited number of tickets are still available to the public for $5 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the New England Sports Center front desk at 121 Donald Lynch Blvd. in Marlborough or at the Sharks front office in the DCU Center at 50 Foster St. in Worcester.
Finally, the Sharks will then travel up to Hooksett, NH the following day on Saturday, September 30 to take on the Monarchs at the Tri-Town Ice Arena for a 7:00 p.m. slate.
Training Camp will wrap up on October 2nd and 3rd beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the DCU Center.
On Saturday, October 14, the Worcester Sharks will swim back to the DCU Center in Worcester for the first home game of their inaugural season against the Portland Pirates at 7:05 p.m., powered by the U.S. Army.
