Chris Colabello struck out looking on a very close pitch ending a Tornadoes comeback in the ninth. Worcester fell short, dropping a 7-6 contest to the New Jersey Jackals in the final game of the set at Yogi Berra Stadium on Sunday afternoon. It was a come-from-behind win for New Jersey, plating six runs in the sixth.

The loss went to Mike Gedman, who pitched 0.2 innings, allowing six runs (all earned) on four hits and a pair of walks. Shaun Ellis won, going two thirds of an inning as well, allowing two hits and a run. Jeff Gogal held on for the save, his third of the season.
The Tornadoes struck for a run in the final inning to make it a one-run ballgame, but left two runners in scoring position. Worcester will be back at home on Monday for a three game series against the Newark Bears, starting with a 7:05pm first pitch.
