Quebec 7, Rockland 2

Dan Sausville earned his first win of the season, allowing just four hits, two runs and striking out five in six innings pitched while fueling Quebec to a 7-2 win against Rockland. A double from right fielder Sebastien Boucher in the top of the first inning helped the Capitales take a 2-0 lead, and Goefrey Tomlinson singled in the second. Boucher led Quebec with four hits, two runs and two RBI in five at-bats during the game, and the Capitales led through all nine innings. Rockland tacked on runs in the second and fifth innings, but just one Boulder had more than one hit. Left fielder Vic Buttler led Rockland with two hits and one run in three at-bats against Quebec.

Brockton 5, Newark 4 (12 innings)

Third baseman Jorge Jimenez hit his second home run of the night in the bottom of the 12th inning to lead Brockton to a 5-4 victory against Newark. Jimenez led the Rox with four hits, three runs and three RBI in five at-bats, and right fielder Keith Brachold batted in the other two runs for Brockton with a home run of his own in the bottom of the fourth inning. Jimenez's solo home run in the bottom of the third inning opened scoring for the Rox, and after five frames Brockton led 4-2. Right fielder Danny Santiesteban batted in one of Newark's two runs in the sixth inning to tie the score. Santiesteban led the Bears with two hits and three RBI in five at-bats.

New Jersey 7, Worcester 6

New Jersey scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and edged Worcester 7-6. After the Tornadoes scored a pair of runs in the top of the sixth, New Jersey trailed 4-1. The Jackals scored six runs on six hits in the bottom of the inning and left three on base after first baseman Kris Sanchez was put out for out number three. Designated hitter Mike Jones led New Jersey with two hits, two RBI and one run in four at-bats. Worcester started out strong after first baseman Chris Colabello hit a solo home run in the top of the first inning, and Colabello led the Tornadoes with three hits, two runs and two RBI in four at-bats. Shaun Ellis picked up his first win of the season by allowing three hits and one run in .2 innings pitched.

The doubleheader between New York-Pittsfield has been postponed due to field conditions. The games will be made up as part of back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18. Both doubleheaders will begin at 6pm.
