Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will host a tailgate party at the Allstate Arena before the puck drops on their 13th home opener against the Milwaukee Admirals on Sat., Oct. 14, at 7 p.m.

Fans can enter the tailgate -- which runs from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Southwest Parking Lot -- with their game ticket and receive soft drinks courtesy of Pepsi and hot dogs courtesy of Vienna Beef and Chicago Baking Co. while supplies last. The event is headlined by the band "Billy Ray Valentine" who will perform at 3 p.m., and features interactive games and an appearance by Wolves mascot Skates. Free parking is available from 2 to 4 p.m.

Fans will also have the opportunity to take part in the Chicago's Department of Animal Care and Control's (ACC) Adopt-a-Dog program at both the tailgate party and the game. Fans can stop by the ACC's Animobile -- a mobile adoption unit and clinic staffed by veterinarians and adoption specialists that was donated by Wolves Chairman of the Board Don Levin, at the tailgate.

During the game, fans can visit "Brian's Barking Buddies" - named after Wolves defenseman Brian Sipotz, the team spokesman for the program - in the East Lobby by the Customer Service Booth. This marks the first of seven appearances the Adopt-a-Dog program will make at Wolves games this season.

The first 10,000 fans for the game will also receive magnetic schedules for the Wolves regular season, sponsored by Pepsi.
