
Radio show begins Wednesday

Peoria, IL (October 10, 2006) - "X's & O's with Coach Baseggio," the new Rivermen coach's radio show, will debut Wednesday, October 11 from 7-8:00 p.m. at Hammer's Bar & Restaurant in Bartonville and air on 95.5 GLO - Peoria's Classic Rock (WGLO - 95.5 FM). Special player guests this week include: Defensemen Aaron MacKenzie (Captain), Mike Stuart and Patrick Wellar, and left wing Cam Keith.
Rivermen Head Coach Dave Baseggio will highlight the show, which will also air on the following Wednesdays - November 15, December 13, January 22, February 27 and April 4, and Tuesday, February 27. Coach Baseggio will be joined by the "Voice of the Rivermen" Norm Ulrich and Rivermen beat writer Dave Eminian of the Peoria Journal Star.
Bud Light, in association with Brewers Distributing, is also co-sponsoring the coach's show. Food and drink specials will be available during each show.
The Rivermen host the San Antonio Rampage on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14. Game times are 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively. On Friday, it is Coca-Cola/Insight Media Date Night, as fans receive two (2) Upper Bowl tickets, two (2) Cokes and a tub of popcorn for just $25. It is also the 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time, presented by U.S. Cellular, Card Set giveaway. The first card, Brian Shaw, will be handed out, along with a header card and a card set holder. On Saturday, it is Rivermen Hand Flag Night for the first 2,500 fans, courtesy of CEFCU - Your Credit Union. And the second player card, Kevin Miehm, will be handed out as part of the 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time, presented by U.S. Cellular.
Rivermen season ticket plans are on sale now with 1) a Full Season package (40 games), 2) the 25th Anniversary package (25 games), 3) a 12-game package, 4) a seven-game package and 5) undated voucher books (denominations of 20 vouchers). Packages start at just $75 per seat.
