Wolves Host the Attack

The Sudbury Wolves will host the Owen Sound Attack this Friday at 7:30PM at the Sudbury Community Arena. Friday's game will also mark the Travelodge Fan Fest, which will celebrate Wolves' fans being named the best fans in the Ontario Hockey League for the second straight year.

The Wolves will be looking to rebound after a disappointing weekend and will be looking to create some momentum. The Attack are coming off a dominating 7-2 victory over the 67's and will be sure to bring their offensive attack to Sudbury.

The Attack is lead offensively by DANIEL MILNE, KYLE PLATZER and DAMIR SHARIPZYANOV, all with seven points. Minnesota Wild prospect PAVEL JENYS and forward MATT SCHMALZ lead the Wolves with two goals and one assist each respectively. TROY TIMPANO has been a dominating force in the net for the Wolves, with a save percentage of 0.922. The Wolves will be looking for TIMPANO to continue his impressive start to the season and have a big part in Friday's game.

Friday's game is sponsored by Q92. Q92 will be giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky winner for the Toronto Maple Leafs game on October 14th when they host the Colorado Avalanche. The prize winner will also receive a one night's stay at the Ritz Carlton downtown Toronto. Game time is 7:30pm.

Fans are encouraged to come early Friday night as the Travelodge Fan Fest will take place outside the Sudbury Arena prior to the game. Come and join the festivities as there will be free hotdogs, live music, face painting, prizes and much more. The Wolves would once again like to thank all fans for their continued support and for being the best fans in the OHL! The BBQ will begin at 6:00PM out front of the arena.
