Sudbury Wolves News Release

The Soo Greyhounds are the #1 rated team in the OHL this season and there is little surprise as former GM Kyle Dubas master-minded the team that the City of Sault Ste. Marie now enjoys. Dubas, 28, was recently hired as the new Assistant GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Greyhounds are a perfect 3-0 to start the season and have one of the highest-powered offences in the OHL. The Greyhounds have six players in the top 15 scoring spots in the OHL. The Greyhounds also have six players drafted into the NHL including three forwards, two defencemen and one goaltender.

The Greyhounds have two of the most skilled import players in the OHL including Sergey Tolchinsky and defenceman Gustaf Bouramann. Both import players bring high-end speed and skill to the talent-laden Greyhound line-up. The Greyhounds are expected to win the Western Conference this season and challenge for the OHL Championship for the first time since the 1990's.

The Greyhounds have also enjoyed a strangle-hold on the BELL CHALLENGE CUP as the top team in Northern Ontario as winners of the six-game regular season series between the Wolves and the Greyhounds. The Wolves will meet the Greyhounds three times in October including tonight, next Wednesday and again on Wednesday, October 22nd. The regular season series will be half-way complete on the 22nd.

There are plenty of great seats available for tonight's game. The ticket office is open all day and right up until game time.
