
Wolves Host Bulldogs & Frontenacs this Weekend

(Sudbury, ON) Wolves Hockey action returns to the Sudbury Arena Friday when the Wolves host the defending OHL Champions, the Hamilton Bulldogs, in game three of their four game home-stand. It's a double header weekend as they return to the ice Saturday night for a match-up with the Kingston Frontenacs. Both games begin at 7:05pm. Fans can catch Quinton Byfield, Shane Bulitka, David Levin and Blake Murray as they lead the Pack in front of Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.
"We are looking forward to the two games this weekend," said Wolves Head Coach Cory Stillman. "We need to a bring a work ethic for the full sixty minutes and we need to have more discipline in all areas. With the Eastern Conference so tight, points right now are very important and carry a lot of weight moving down the road into February and March."
The Hamilton Bulldogs sit in the middle of the tightly spread Eastern Conference in 4th with 13 points in 10 games, one point ahead of the 6th place Wolves. The Bulldogs are led upfront by Colorado Avalanche
prospect Brandon Saigeon who has 17 points in 10 games and Arthur Kaliyev who sits just behind with 16 points in 10 games.
Friday's game is sponsored by KiSS 105.3 who will be on-hand with the Perfect Music Mix-up. Fans can enter their contest at the KiSS105.3 table in the lower lobby until the end of the second period. The first 1000 fans will receive a Sudbury Wolves foam finger so come cheer on the Wolves and make some noise. Pre-game entertainment starts at 6:00pm on the Queen's stage powered by M.I.C.
Former Wolf Dawson Baker, returns to the Sudbury Arena Saturday when the Kingston Frontenacs make their only appearance of the season in the Nickel City. Dallas Stars prospect Jason Robertson leads the Fronts with 16 points through 10 games. Robertson sits 5th in league scoring.
Saturday's game is sponsored by Enercare who will be on hand with Thundersticks for the first 1000 fans. Participate in the Enercare Mystery Envelope Prize Hunt where three lucky fans will win replica Sudbury Wolves jerseys. Again, local musical talent will don the Queen's stage powered by M.I.C. at 6:00pm.
