Piercey Named to Canada's U-17 World Hockey Challenge Roster

Hockey Canada announced this morning that Barrie Colts forward Riley Piercey has been selected to represent Canada at the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Saint John, NB from November 3rd-10th.

The 6'3" 185lb forward from Mississauga, ON has recorded a goal and an assist in 10 games this season with the club.

"It's an unbelievable feeling, it's a childhood dream to throw the Canadian jersey on and represent our country" said the 16 year old forward.

Riley will be heading out to Saint John on October 29thto partake in the tournament and will be returned back to Barrie on November 11th.

The most recent Barrie Colt to represent Canada at the World U-17 Hockey Challenge was Ryan Suzuki last year.
