
Wolves Hold off Kings with Impressive Defensive Effort

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (5-10) defeated the Stockton Kings (6-7) 100-94 Thursday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
The 94 points scored by Stockton was the lowest total allowed to an opposing team this season by Iowa.
Diamond Stone had an impressive game for the Wolves on the inside, totaling 17 points and 11 rebounds in his second double-double of the season.
Keita Bates-Diop tied a team-high with 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor. The Minnesota Timberwolves assignee also tallied seven rebounds and a game-high four blocked shots.
As a team the Wolves shot 48.1% from the floor and 41.1% from the three-point line while limiting the Kings to under 38.0% shooting on the night.
Two-way guard Jared Terrell shot at a high-clip from inside the arc, converting 6-of-7 attempts while recording 15 points.
Jonathan Stark fell just shy of his season-high on the offensive end, finishing with 18 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Kalin Lucas paced the Kings offensively, scoring a game-high 29 points while dishing out 12 assists. The former Michigan State University standout finished three rebounds shy of recording a triple-double.
The Wolves continue their season with a two-game road trip beginning on Saturday, Dec. 15 against the Austin Spurs at 7:00 p.m.
