Wolves Face Bulldogs in Western Conference Final

The Chicago Wolves will battle the Hamilton Bulldogs in the best-of-seven Western Conference Final beginning at the Allstate Arena on Fri., May 18, at 7:30 p.m., and on Sun., May 20, at 3 p.m. This marks the third time the Wolves have reached the conference finals since joining the American Hockey League in 2001-02.
Games 3 and 4 will be held at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton on Wed., May 23, at 6:30 p.m., and on Fri.,May 25, at 6:30 p.m. If necessary, the Bulldogs will host Game 5 on Sat., May 26, at 6 p.m., and Chicago will host Game 6 at the Allstate Arena on Mon., May 28 at 7 p.m., and Game 7 on Wed., May 30, at 7 p.m.
The second-seeded Wolves defeated the third-seeded Milwaukee Admirals, 4-games-to-0, in the first round and the fourth-seeded Iowa Stars, 4-games-to-2, in the second round. Hamilton, the third seed in the North Division, knocked off the second-seeded Rochester Americans, 4-games-to-2, in the first round and the top-seeded Manitoba Moose, 4-games-to-2, in the division final.
This marks the first time the Wolves and Bulldogs will face off in the postseason. Chicago notched a 1-2-1-0 record against Hamilton during the regular season, which includes going winless (0-2-0-0) at the Allstate Arena.
