Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (9-16) picked up a decisive 116-101 victory over the Canton Charge (8-14) Wednesday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Wolves led the game from start to finish while recording their second double-digit win of the week.
Seven players finished in double figures for Iowa, led by a 26-point outburst from Darius Johnson-Odom. The affiliate guard from Marquette University finished 7-of-14 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free throw line.
Three Wolves players finished with double-doubles, led by a 20-point, 10-rebound performance from Denver Nuggets transfer Thomas Welsh. The UCLA product has recorded a double-double in each of his first three games in Iowa.
Jonathan Stark posted a season-high 12 assists to go along with 11 points in the win.
Forward William Lee added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Defensively, the Wolves held the Charge to under 45% shooting from the floor and just 27.8% from deep.
Bonzie Colson posted a team-high 21 points for Canton while shooting 8-of-13 from the field.
Iowa will finish its seven-game homestand against the Grand Rapids Drive on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 4:00 p.m. CT.
