Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves and Easter Seals of Metropolitan Chicago will unveil the Chicago Wolves Library, located at 1939 W. 13th Street in Chicago, on Wed., March 10, at noon. The library, located at Easter Seals Therapeutic School and Center for Autism Research, was made possible by funds raised through the Wolves annual St. Patrick's Day jersey auction and raffle.

Wolves President MIKE POLISKY and former players STEVE MARTINS and BOB NARDELLA will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with Second Ward Alderman BOB FIORETTI and ESMC President and CEO TIM MURI.

"The Chicago Wolves Library was created to enhance the education of students attending Easter Seals' Therapeutic School and Center for Autism Research," said Polisky. "We're proud to support this wonderful facility, offering students with autism an opportunity to build and strengthen their reading skills - an integral part of their overall education and development."

"We've long counted the Chicago Wolves among the most important corporate sponsors for Easter Seals," said Muri. "Their ongoing support and clear passion for the cause have translated into real improvement in our ability to deliver greatly-needed services to our students with Autism."

The Chicago Wolves Library is part of the country's first-ever, state-of-the-art, Therapeutic School and Center for Autism Research. The school will benefit nearly 300 Chicago-area children living with Autism, and will be the first to integrate education, cutting edge research and independent living in a single campus facility.

This season's St. Patrick's Day jersey auction and raffle, presented by Jewel-Osco, will take place at the Wolves home games on Fri., March 12, at 7:30 p.m., and Sat., March 13, at 7 p.m., with proceeds again going to Easter Seals. The Wolves have raised nearly $450,00 for several Chicagoland charities, including Easter Seals, through this fundraiser since 1996.
