Marlies Sign Paris & Zanoski To PTO Contracts

The Toronto Marlies announced today that the club has signed defenceman Drew Paris and forward Tom Zanoski to professional try-out contracts.

Paris, 21, has skated in 59 games with the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL this season, recording 10 goals and 29 assists to go along with 54 penalty minutes. The 6'4, 200-pound Pointe-Claire, Quebec native ranks fourth in the ECHL in points amongst defencemen.

Zanoski, 26, has played in 35 games with the Gladiators this season, posting 22 goals and 20 assists and 44 penalty minutes. The 5'11, 185-pound forward ranks first on the club in goals and is third in points. Zanoski has skated in 19 AHL games this season with the Binghamton Senators, Albany River Rats and Lake Erie Monsters, collecting six points (two goals, four assists).

The Marlies travel to Hamilton tonight to take on the Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, for a 7:30 p.m. matchup at Copps Coliseum.
