Wolves Add Hyka, Move Carr to Vegas

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday that forward Tomas Hyka has been loaned to the team and forward Daniel Carr has been recalled from loan by the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights. Hyka joins the Wolves for three games in three days this weekend.

Hyka posted three assists in the Wolves' first two games this season, then joined Vegas for 17 games and delivered one goal, three assists and a -2 plus/minus rating. The 25-year-old from Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, has appeared in 52 Wolves games and 27 Golden Knights games since joining the organization in June 2017.

Carr joins Vegas after stacking up nine goals and 13 assists in 16 games for the Wolves. The 27-year-old from Sherwood Park, Alberta, shares the American Hockey League lead in points (22) and power-play goals (6) and leads everyone in plus-minus rating (+18). Carr spent parts of the last three seasons with the Montreal Canadiens and contributed 14 goals and 20 assists in 94 games.
