Wolf Pack's Corey Locke Becomes All-Time Leading All-Star Scorer

HARTFORD, January 20, 2010: Hartford Wolf Pack center Corey Locke's second-period assist in last night's 2010 AHL All-Star game at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, ME was his ninth career All-Star game point, making him the event's all-time leading scorer.

Locke's Canadian All-Star squad defeated the Planet USA team, which included Locke's Wolf Pack teammate, defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti, 10-9 in a shootout, in the All-Star Game, concluding the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic.

Sanguinetti contributed an assist for Planet USA, in his first All-Star game appearance.

This year's trip to the All-Star Classic was the fourth of Locke's six-year career, and the Wolf Pack's leading scorer (17-30-47 in 43 GP) has now totaled five goals and four assists in All-Star Game competition.

After the AHL All-Star Break, the Wolf Pack return to action this Friday, January 22 at the XL Center, hosting the first-place Manchester Monarchs on Guida's Family Value Night.
