Wolf Pack Weekly, November 21-27

November 21, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Hartford Wolf Pack News Release

After suffering through an 0-6-2-0 skid, the Wolf Pack (5-9-2-0, 12 pts.) won two of their three games this past week, sweeping a pair of home tilts. On Wednesday night at the XL Center, the Wolf Pack defeated the Springfield Thunderbirds in the first-ever meeting between the two teams, 3-2 in a shootout. After a 6-3 loss in Binghamton on Saturday, the Wolf Pack posted another home win Sunday, again going to a shootout and triumphing 4-3 over the Providence Bruins. Rookie forward Steven Fogarty had the shootout winners in both of the victories, and fellow first-year pro Brandon Halverson notched his first career AHL win in Wednesday's game, with 25 saves and a 3-for-3 performance in the shootout.

This week:

The Wolf Pack celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with three games this week, the first two at home. On Wednesday night, Thanksgiving Eve, the Wolf Pack host their in-state rivals, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, at the XL Center in a 7:00 game, and then they see the Albany Devils for the first time on "Black Friday", with faceoff at 7:15. After that Hartford travels to Allentown, PA to take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday night, a 7:05 faceoff.

Wednesday, November 23 vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (Islanders) at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

- This is another Wolf Pack "Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack" game. The Family Value Pack includes two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for just $40.

- Once again this season, every Wednesday-night home game is a "Winning Wednesday". If the Wolf Pack win, fans can show their Winning Wednesday ticket at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center and receive a free ticket to the next Wolf Pack home game, which is this Friday, November 25 vs. Albany (some restrictions apply).

- The Sound Tigers have won four of their last five games, including a 5-2 triumph over Lehigh Valley at home Saturday and a 3-2 home overtime victory vs. Binghamton on Sunday.

- This is the second of eight meetings on the year between the AHL's two Connecticut adversaries. The Sound Tigers took the first battle November 4 at the XL Center, winning 5-4 in overtime.

- Bridgeport rookie goaltender Eamon McAdam was victorious in his first two appearances of the year for the Sound Tigers, stopping 26 of 28 shots Saturday vs. Lehigh Valley and 24 of 26 Sunday against Binghamton.

- Tickets for this and all 2016-17 Wolf Pack home games are on sale now at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499. The set will be comprised of the second group of the players chosen as the top 20 all-time in franchise history.

- This game will also feature the Wolf Pack's annual "Teddy Bear Toss", with fans invited to bring soft toys to be chucked on to the ice when the Pack score their first goal of the game. All of the toys collected will be donated to Toys for Tots and Operation ELF.

- At this and every Friday-night home game this season, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period.
