CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars picked up three of six possible points on the road last week and now prepare for a home-and-home series with the rival San Antonio Rampage this weekend.
-- THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE -- November 25 at San Antonio Rampage at 7:30 p.m. and November 26 vs. San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. CST: The Texas Stars and San Antonio Rampage square off in a home-and-home series this weekend for their second and third matchups of the season. The Rampage took the first meeting in a 4-2 final on Oct. 25 at H-E-B Center. Rocco Grimaldi tallied a goal and an assist for San Antonio in the game. Over the past two-plus seasons, San Antonio narrowly leads the head-to-head matchups, 14-13, in 27 contests.
-- LAST WEEK'S RESULTS -- November 16 at Grand Rapids Griffins, 6-3 Loss:
The Texas Stars scored a pair of shorthanded goals but could not catch the Grand Rapids Griffins, who won their fourth straight game in a 6-3 final on Wednesday night at Van Andel Arena in front of 5,512 fans in attendance. Bryce Van Brabant scored his first career Texas goal in the loss. Colin Campbell scored twice for the Griffins, and left the Stars still looking for their first win at Van Andel Arena since the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs when they eliminated Grand Rapids in the second round.
November 18 at Grand Rapids Griffins, 4-3 Win:
Maxime Lagace turned in a 41-save performance and Matej Stransky buried the game-winner late in period three to lift the Texas Stars to a 4-3 road win over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday night in front of 7,510 in attendance at Van Andel Arena. Stransky's goal came with 2:40 remaining in regulation on a one-timer in the slot. Matt Lorito tallied a three-point game for the Griffins with a goal and two helpers. Friday's game was Lagace's second 40-save performance of the season after stopping 43 in the second game of the season.
November 19 at Rockford IceHogs, 5-4 Shootout Loss:
The Texas Stars scored a trio of goals in the third period to erase a 4-1 deficit and earn a point in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday night in front of 4,974 fans in attendance at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Texas outshot the IceHogs 18-2 in the third to force the extra period. Andrew Bodnarchuk's fourth of the season knotted the score for Texas late in regulation. Rockford's Eric Gustafsson tallied a pair of goals.

-- NEWS, NOTES AND UPCOMING MILESTONES -- The Texas Stars are two regular season wins away from 300 in franchise history. The Stars currently hold an all-time regular season record of 298-157-40-29 in their AHL tenure. Wednesday night the Texas Stars tallied a pair of shorthanded goals against Grand Rapids thanks to Ethan Werek and Travis Morin. It was the third time ever the Stars tallied two shorthanded goals in a contest, and the first since Nov. 21, 2012 against the Oklahoma City Barons. Texas has never scored three shorthanded goals in a game. Morin currently has 399 assists in his professional career and appeared in his 650th career pro game on Wednesday.
