San Antonio Rampage News Release

SAN ANTONIO- The San Antonio Rampage announced today that they have signed forward Stephen Perfetto to a professional tryout contract. In addition, the Rampage have recalled defenseman Sergei Boikov from the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).

Perfetto, 25, started the 2016-17 campaign with the Alaska Aces, leading the team in scoring with 22 points in 13 appearances. The Woodbridge, Ont. native is tied for fourth in scoring among skaters and has logged seven multi-point efforts in as many games this season, including the first four-assist game for any Aces player this year. Perfetto appeared in all 72 games with the Aces last season, ranking second among scorers with 48 points.

Despite Boikov suiting up four times for the Rampage last year, this marks his first full season in the minor leagues. He recorded two assists in seven appearances with the Rampage before being reassigned to the team's ECHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles. Boikov has played the last seven games with the Eagles, logging two points including his first professional goal on Nov. 17 at the South Carolina Stingrays. Boikov spent the last three seasons with the Drummondville Voltigeurs, collecting 11 goals, 48 assists, and 226 penalty minutes in 184 games.

The San Antonio Rampage return to the AT&T Center after a week off to take on Pacific Division rivals the Texas Stars on Friday, Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. CT. All Rampage games can be heard on Ticket 760 and SARampage.com. Individual and season tickets are available and can be purchased by calling a Rampage representative at 210-444-5554 or online at SARampage.com. The 2016-17 season is presented by Wells Fargo.
