
Wolf Pack Sign Forward Brock McBride to ATO

HARTFORD, March 25, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has signed forward Brock McBride to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.
The 22-year-old McBride, a 5-10, 192-pound native of Cornwall, Ontario, comes to the Wolf Pack from St. Lawrence University. He tied for the Saints' team lead in assists this season, finished second on the squad in points and led the team in penalty minutes, with totals of 13-20-33 and 95 PIM in 34 games. McBride's point total of 33 was good for a tie for tenth overall in the ECACHL. Last season he led St. Lawrence in points, goals and assists, with 12-22-34 in 37 games. Those numbers ranked him eighth in the ECACHL in assists and tied for ninth in points.
In 140 career games with St. Lawrence, McBride registered 40 goals and 70 assists for 110 points, along with 256 penalty minutes

The Wolf Pack return to action this Friday night, March 27, when they travel to Albany to take on the River Rats (7:00 PM faceoff, 96.5 WTIC HD2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com, www.ahllive.com). The Pack are back on home ice at the XL Center this Saturday night, March 28 vs. the Providence Bruins. That is "Boy Scout Hat Night". All scouts who purchase group tickets in advance through the Wolf Pack ticket office at (860) 548-2000 will receive a special Wolf Pack scout hat. Also, the Wolf Pack encourage fans attending that game to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Foodshare.
Adult tickets for Wolf Pack home games can be purchased for as low as $10 each for the rest of the regular season, sponsored by Click It or Ticket. Pack tickets are available at the XL Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall.
