Glass seats auction for Aeros game to benefit Lyme Association

HOUSTON, Texas - A generous donor has provided two of the best seats to be auctioned off for this Friday's Houston Aeros Lyme Night. The auction for these tickets begins at 2 p.m. CDT today with all proceeds benefiting the Texas Lyme Disease Association. Along with the tickets, located on the glass behind the net in section 113, the auction winner will receive two Lyme Night Nolan Schaefer jersey shirts and a photograph with the goaltender following the game where he can personally autograph the shirts. Click here to start bidding, the auction ends tomorrow at noon.

Schaefer and his wife Lisa, who has been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, have both been actively raising awareness of the disease through their website UNMASKLYME.com. Schaefer's goalie mask that was specifically designed to show his support of the cause is also up for auction until March 30 at noon. The mask has a lime green tick painted on the back where his autograph is located.
