Wolf Pack Return Goaltender Maxime Daigneault to Charlotte

HARTFORD, February 26, 2009: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has returned goaltender Maxime Daigneault on loan to its ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers. Daigneault served as the Wolf Pack's backup in last night's 5-1 win at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, after being recalled from Charlotte earlier in the day.

Daigneault has appeared in one game this year for the Wolf Pack, logging 38:40 of relief duty February 8 in Lowell. He allowed two goals on 21 shots in that contest and absorbed the loss in a 5-3 defeat. In 20 games with Charlotte, Daigneault is 10-8-1, with a 3.30 goals-against average and an 89.7% save percentage, and is 9-2-1 in his last 12 decisions.

The Wolf Pack are back in action at the XL Center tomorrow night, Friday, February 27, for a Guida's Family Value Night game against the Manchester Monarchs (7:00).
