
Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken from Slap Shot highlights Promotions Packed Weekend

WORCESTER, MA- Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced that the Sharks will host a promotions packed weekend at the DCU Center this weekend. The Sharks host "Go Red Night" at the DCU Center on Friday, February 27th at 7:05p.m. vs. the Portland Pirates with a special appearance from Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken from the hit movie Slap Shot. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Brad Staubitz autographed collector's card presented by WTAG on "Faith Night" when the Sharks host the Springfield Falcons on Saturday, February 28th at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Springfield Falcons.
On Friday, the Sharks host the Portland Pirates at 7:05 p.m. on "Go Red Night" as the Sharks and the Pirates battle for the Unum Cup. (Game was originally scheduled for 8:05p.m.)
Show your support for the American Heart Association as the first 500 fans will receive a "Go Red" pin! All adults wearing red will receive $2.00 off an adult ticket at the box office.
Tim "Dr. Hook" McCracken from the hit movie Slap Shot will make a special appearance! Dr. Hook will be on ice for a 1st intermission activity and sign autographs at the "Slap Shot" table in the concourse during the 2nd intermission. Adult fans wearing their favorite "Slap Shot" themed jersey will receive $2.00 off an adult ticket at the box office. All student tickets are just $9 and the game will also be shown live on Charter TV-3.
On Saturday, the Shark host the Springfield Falcons at 7:05 p.m. on "Faith Night." The first 3,000 fans will receive a Brad Staubitz autographed collector's card presented by News Talk 580AM and 94.9FM WTAG. Stay after the game for a postgame concert by "Brother's Keeper"!
