Morrison Recalled from Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have recalled forward Jordan Morrison from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced on Thursday.

Morrison, 22, has appeared in four games with the Penguins this season, recording one assist and four penalty minutes. He made his Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and AHL debut on January 16, picking up an assist and two penalty minutes against the Binghamton Senators.

The 6-0, 170 pound native of Uxbridge, ON ranks second on the Nailers this season with 62 points (19+43) in 49 games. He ranks fifth in the ECHL in points, and third in assists.

Morrison was signed by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton as a free agent on October 1, 2008.
