Wizards Team up with the Holiday Blast Basketball Tournament

BISMARCK, ND, December 17, 2007 - The NBA Development League Champion Dakota Wizards announced today that they have teamed up with Bismarck Hoops for the inaugural Holiday Blast Boys Basketball Tournament to tip off on Saturday December 29th.
"We are glad to be able to team up with the Wizards", said Don Barron co organizer of the Holiday Blast Tournament. " These kids all have dreams of being a NBA star some day, so this is great for them to get a chance to see these guys play right here in Bismarck".
The Holiday Blast is a five on five tournament open to boy's grades 4 thru 8 from around the state of North and South Dakota. Participating teams will have a three game guarantee, and the Wizards will also provide every youth who is playing with a complimentary ticket to the rematch of last years D-League championship game vs. the Colorado 14ers to be held at the Bismarck Civic Center on the night of the 29th.
To cap off the evening, the top two eighth grade teams will be highlighted following the Wizards game on the 29th, as they play their championship game on the Bismarck Civic Center court.
