Colorado 14ers News Release
NEWS THIS WEEK
The 14ers re-acquired point guard Eddie Gill on Monday. Gill was the number one overall pick in this year's D-League Draft. The Aurora, Colorado native was the first Gatorade Call-Up of the D-League season and played 13 games with the New Jersey Nets averaging 2.9 points and 1.6 assists in 11.5 minutes per game. Gill will make his 14ers debut Tuesday night against the Austin Toros.
Wednesday night the 14ers will take part in NBA Nights presented by Adidas. Colorado will wear the light blue jerseys of their NBA Affiliate Team, the Denver Nuggets when they take on the Austin Toros who will wear the jerseys of the San Antonio Spurs. Following the game the 14ers will autograph and auction off their Nuggets jerseys along with a Denver Nuggets autographed basketball with the proceeds going to the Broomfield Event Center Foundation.
LAST WEEK'S GAMES
Dec. 14 at Austin - The Toros outscored the 14ers 38-28 in the fourth quarter and pulled away to take a 109-100 win over Colorado. Elton Brown led the 14ers with 24 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
Dec. 15 at Rio Grande Valley - Colorado jumped out to a big lead early by hitting 15 3-pointers in the first half. Kaniel Dickens led the charge, going 6-6 from behind the arc and finishing with 33 points in a 126-112 14ers victory.

NOTES
Colorado waived forward Julian Sensley due to injury when guard Eddie Gill was re-acquired on Monday.
The 14ers five wins on the road this season is best in the D-League.
Denver East product Kaniel Dickens went 6-6 from the 3-point line in Saturday's win over Rio Grande Valley. Kaniel is now shooting 49% from behind the arc this season.
Elton Brown ranks fourth in the D-League in rebounding at 10.2 per game.
Billy Thomas' 2.6 steals per game ties him for the second best mark in the D-League.
