
Wizards return to their winning ways at home

BISMARCK, N.D.: The Dakota Wizards held of the West Division leader Idaho Stampede 108 -100 to move to 2-3 on the season. Lead by forward Rod Benson the Wizards never looked back in the fourth quarter as Benson finished the game with season high 25 points and 15 rebounds.
"We started a little slow" Said Wizards head coach Duane Ticknor " Our guys really showed their stuff in the second half, and I was happy to see them start to gel a bit as a team".
Wizards forward Carlos Powell had a season high 28 points as he recorded is fourth game with more than 20 points. Wizards Guard Maurice Baker had a good game as he finished the battle with 14 points and 13 rebounds along with seven assists. Forward David Palmer led the Wizards bench with 11 points.
Idaho struggled off the bus as they travel all night and after a long overtime loss to Sioux Falls on Friday. Center Lance Allred got into foul trouble early in the third and deemed not a factor for the Wizards only recording 10 points in the match up, Although Allred did pull down 13 boards. Guard Randy Livingston however picked up right where he left off last night as he had a team high 28 points while having seven rebounds and three assists. Livingston was 10 for 10 from the charity stripe.
The Dakota Wizards travel to Sioux Falls to take on rival Skyforce in an early match up on Sunday, Tip off is set for 5:00 pm CT. Idaho, now 5-3 stay on the road as they head to warmer weather to take on the southwest division leading Rio Grand Valley Vipers on Friday December 14th. The Wizard next home game will be December 16th at 6:00 pm CT.
