FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Friday's games
Sioux Fall's Nik Caner-Medley scored 26 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished our four assists in the Skyforce's overtime victory. David Bailey paced Sioux Falls with 21 points and 10 assists.
Randy Livingston (37 points, 10 assists), Cory Violette (32 points) and Lance Allred (28 points, 10 rebounds) combined for 97 of Idaho's 113 points in the overtime loss.
Elton Brown topped all scorers with 18 points for Colorado, also totaling five rebounds and two assists, in the win.
Albuquerque's Josh Gross and Alando Tucker (on assignment from the Phoenix Suns) led the Thunderbirds with 17 points apiece.
CHARLO AND TABUSE RETURN TO D-LEAGUE: Two D-League veterans returned to rosters on Friday as the Anaheim Arsenal acquired Yuta Tabuse and the Colorado 14ers welcomed Mo Charlo. Charlo, drafted by the Arsenal in the ninth round of the 2006 D-League draft, split time during the 2006-07 season between the Albuquerque Thunderbirds and the Colorado 14ers averaging 6.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in ten regular season games and 6.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in three playoff games with the 14ers. Tabuse, the first Japanese-born player in the NBA, was twice drafted by D-League teams, including by the Thunderbirds in the ninth round of the 2005 D-League Draft and by the Bakersfield Jam in the third round of the 2006 D-League Draft. For his D-League career, Tabuse played 77 games averaging 6.3 points and 3.7 assists.
