
Wizards Acquire Center Chris Holm

Bismarck, N.D. (March. 30, 2011) ¬" The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have acquired center Chris Holm (6-11 265, Vermont) via the Available Player Pool. Holm will practice with the team today and will be in uniform this weekend against the Tulsa 66 ¬â¢ers.
Holm, 26, has been playing professional basketball in Japan with the Sendai 89ers since the fall of 2008. He averaged 14.4 points and 13.4 rebounds in 36 games for the 89ers prior to the rest of the season being cancelled due to the earthquake in Japan. Holm played two years at Rhode Island before transferring to Vermont where he averaged 10.6 points and 12.2 rebounds in his senior season.
