Wisconsin Herd Drops Game to the Iowa Wolves

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, lost to the Iowa Wolves 112-102. The Wisconsin Herd battled in the fourth quarter with four lead changes, but the Wolves finished the game with a 10-point run.

Chris Silva led the Iowa Wolves with a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Lindell Wigginton reached a team-high of 19 points and five assists. Jemerrio Jones led the Herd with nine rebounds.

The Wisconsin Herd scored 42 of their 51 points in the paint in the first half. Rayjon Tucker led the Herd with 10 points at the half. Wenyen Gabriel led the Herd with eight rebounds at the half.

The Iowa Wolves led in the first quarter 33-24 and at half 57-54. The Wolves went 50% for free throws and 83.3% for three-pointers. At the half, Chris Silva and Vincent Edwards led the Wolves with 11 points each.

The Wisconsin Herd lost the lead within the first three minutes of the first half. The Herd took the lead again with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, making the score 94-92.

At the end of the third period, the Herd was trailing 87-84. The Iowa Wolves went 85% for team free throws. The Wolves had the largest lead with 13 points.

The Wisconsin Herd had 26 team fouls and the Wolves had 22. The Herd went 15.4% for three-pointers and the Wolves doubled the that with 34.2%

The Wisconsin Herd will play against the Iowa Wolves at the Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday, December 15th with tip-off at 7p.m. CST.
